FAQ'S
Contact us via email laura@madrockdesign.ca to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please provide your name, the description of what you are returning and the reason for the return. *Unfortunately we cannot offer returns or refunds for custom painted or finished wood products.
Ship the item(s) using any shipping method you prefer. We suggest using a method that can be tracked. Madrock Design Woodworking will not assume responsibility for any return shipping fees, nor can we reimburse you for any fees incurred. Madrock Design Woodworking is not responsible for returned packages that may be lost in the mail by the shipper you have selected. All returns must have an RA# issued by us. Any returns without an RA# will be refused and returned to you. Items should be received within 30 days (postmarked no later than 15 days). Orders outside of Canada may have customs/duty applied at the border by your country. This is beyond our control. Most orders are custom made on demand. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges if this the shipment is refused by you due to customs/duty charges of any kind. Shipping costs of any kind will not be refunded.
A wooden board should be wiped clean after every use. If necessary it can be washed in hot soapy water and dried. A board should never be set soaking or to drip dry. Never put a board in the dishwasher. The combination of heat and water will destroy the wood and undo the glue. Regular maintenance should include oiling of the board. Mineral Oil is recommended as a barrier to excess moisture and help to prevent staining. Dryness is a signal to re-oil but don’t re-oil too often as it may feel greasy.
